A play you can watch, not just read.
The screen that frees a shooter, the run that beats a press, the set held back for the last minute — most of it lives in one person's head and dies on a napkin. Tacticity gives those ideas somewhere to live, and makes them move.
Reading a frozen arrow and watching the thing unfold are two different experiences. One ends at “I think I follow.” The other ends at “I know where I'm meant to be.”
Drawn the way you already draw it
Drop the players where they start, trace the runs, hang the passes and screens off them, then hit play. The notation is the one you have used on every whiteboard since you started coaching, so there is nothing to learn before you can put down your first set.

Built for both sides
A coach carrying a full roster and a player learning one role need different things from the same diagram. The app adjusts to which of the two you are rather than making you adapt to it.
An honest mirror
Over weeks it shows which sets you keep reaching for, which ones you drew once and abandoned, and how the training week is stacking up — worked out on your phone, for your eyes only.
Privacy policy
Tactics are the one thing a team genuinely cannot afford to leak. The simplest guarantee is an app with nowhere to leak them to.

Nothing is gathered and nothing is transmitted. Tacticity has no sign-in, no team cloud and no server standing behind it. Your sets, your gameplans, your notes and the figures the app works out from them are held on your own device, and there is no route by which they reach anyone else.
4.1Nothing is asked of you
The app opens straight into a blank court. It has no registration and no profile, and it never asks for a name, a club, an email address, a phone number or a location. Device and advertising identifiers go unread.
4.2Where your plays are kept
Diagrams, player markers, movement paths, gameplan folders, labels and any notes attached to a set are written into the app's own storage on your hardware.
No matching copy exists anywhere. Nobody at this end can look at your playbook, and if you asked us to recover one we would have nothing to recover it from.
4.3The usage picture stays with you
The app does count things — which sets you run often, which ones sit untouched, how a training week is filling out. That counting is done on the phone, from your own taps, and the result is shown only to you. It is a feature of the app, not a report sent to anyone. No usage figures, no session records and no diagnostics are collected here.
4.4Working without a connection
Drawing, animating and organising all run locally, which is why the app behaves the same in a sports hall with no reception as it does anywhere else. There is no upload step in it, not a disabled one — simply none.
4.5Handing a play to somebody
When you send a set or a folder to an assistant or a player, iOS's share sheet carries it out at the moment you ask. From there it belongs to whatever app received it, and who ends up holding your tactics becomes a matter of who you sent them to.
4.6Names you write on the diagram
If you label markers with real players — often young ones — those names are their information, not ours. They are stored on your device and transmitted nowhere, so no second copy of your squad exists beyond the one you made.
4.7No borrowed components
No analytics kit, advertising network, crash reporter or tracking beacon is compiled into the build. Nothing watches how you use the app and no partner receives anything, because none of it is written down in the first place.
4.8Younger users
Since nothing travels off any device, nothing travels off the device of a player or coach under 13 either. No record exists on our side for COPPA, the UK Children's code or their equivalents abroad to apply to.
4.9Clearing everything out
Any play, folder or label can be rewritten or deleted from inside the app whenever you want. Removing Tacticity takes the entire playbook with it for good, and nothing is stored elsewhere to bring back.
One thing to be aware of: with iCloud or computer backups switched on, your playbook may sit inside that encrypted backup, which is yours and is covered by Apple's terms rather than this page.
4.10Revisions
If a later release does anything this sheet does not describe, the sheet is corrected before that release ships and the effective date above moves with it.
